For this project, my class was assigned to pick a local non-profit organization, redesign their logo, and design a couple posters to advertise an event for the organization. I chose a no-kill shelter for cats and dogs named Wags & Whiskers. 

Below is the original logo:

Yeah, definitely not the cleanest logo. I started with a short brain-storming session. I sketched a few ideas using images of dogs as reference, and immediately found a concept to work with.

I went through three drafts before finally settling on a logo.

All that was left was to design two posters for an upcoming pet adoption event.
